Musicianship Exercises: Chords

This page contains twelve different three and four note chords, played first as arpeggios and then harmonically. They are arranged randomly, and are played in each of the twelve keys. As with the intervals on the previous page, these examples can be returned to and worked through in different sequences.

The twelve chord choices are (in no particular order): major triad, minor triad, augmented triad, diminished triad, major seven, dominant seven, minor seven, half-diminished seven, diminished seven, augmented seven, dominant seven flat five, and minor major seven.
